Position Announcements:

Assistant Project Manager Fisher Theatrical is seeking full-time Assistant Project Managers for its location in Hanover, MD. APMs will be expected to work closely with our Project Managers to facilitate our continued level of excellent customer service. Successful candidates must be highly organized and able to work at a fast pace. Previous rigging and crew management experience, with references, will be required for successful candidates. Lighting and/or audio installation or operation experience is a plus.

Successful candidates will:

• Act as Crew Lead for installations • Engage in and teach safe rigging practices • Read and create CAD drawings • Assist Project Manager • Maintain project paperworkSupervise and train Crew Leads

Physical Requirements include:

Must be able to lift and carry 50lbsMust be able to climb laddersMust be able to work with other personnel in close proximityMust be comfortable working at heights in excess of 60 feet

The Assistant Project Manager position is an exempt, salaried position. Salary commensurate with experience. Must pass criminal background check and have valid driver's license.

Shop Assistant Fisher Theatrical is seeking a part-time (25-30hrs/week) Shop Assistant for our location in Hanover, MD. This position is a non-exempt, hourly position. Candidates must be organized and able to work at a fast pace. Working knowledge of basic hand tools is required. Rigging and/or construction experience preferred. Opportunities for production staffing may also be available.

Responsibilities will include:

• Shipping and receiving of materials • Fabrication, construction and painting of scenery & rigging materials. • Pulling and packing orders from stock • Working with Assistant Shop Manager on inventory control • Maintaining and repairing toolsCleaning and organizing the shop on a regular basis

Must pass criminal background check and have valid driver's license.
